Credit Policy

For customers who have approved charge accounts, our terms are 30 days from day of delivery. Interest will be charged on all accounts that are past due.
If the account is past due (more than 30 days) no more deliveries will be made until the account is paid in full. A notice of 5 working days will be required for the next delivery or a MINIMUM service call of $300.00 will be charged to your account.
Payment may be made by: Cash, Cheque, Debit at any office weekdays. Online Banking and phone-in Visa, or Mastercard are options. We also offer an Equal Payment Plan after one year of service. Please call our office for details.
A $25.00 charge will be applied to all cheques returned for non-sufficient funds or stop payments.
Price Protection Policy
We at Moore Propane are pleased to offer all our customers the option of a fixed or market rate. The fixed rate is a guaranteed rate set in August for the following heating season. The customer is guaranteed that fixed rate from September 1st thru August 31st of the following year. The market rate fluctuates through out the year.

Once you are on the fixed rate, you stay on the fixed rate unless you notify us between July 1st through August 31st.

The fixed price changes every September 1st and is locked in until August 31st the following year.
Therefore, your price can be changed from fixed rate to market rate or from market rate to fixed rate between July 1st and August 31st only.

Delivery Policies
At Moore Propane we have three kinds of delivery:
1. Will Call or Phone In Customers

We require at least five (5) business days notice for delivery. You will be put on the next delivery scheduled for your area.

If you require delivery before the next scheduled day in your area there will be a minimum $300.00 delivery charge.

Minimum delivery of propane is $300.00.

Moore Propane Ltd. does not take any responsibility for damage done to property or persons if propane supply is interrupted for any reason including, but not limited to, regulator freeze up, running out of propane or missed deliveries on Moore Propane's part.
2. Automatic Delivery Customers

Your propane delivery schedule is based on anticipated or historical consumption patterns.

To ensure uninterrupted propane supply customers must notify their regional Moore Propane office if additional propane appliances have been installed or if propane consumption is likely to change due to changes in lifestyle, productivity or extended business hours.

Failure to notify us of these changes may result in propane supply interruption prior to regularly scheduled delivery.

3. Calendar Delivery Customers

Your propane delivery schedule is based on anticipated or historical consumption patterns.

Generator Policy
Many customers have added generators to their property over the past few years. Your propane delivery schedule is based on anticipated or historical consumption patterns and generators can greatly change propane usage. It is the customers responsibilty to notify Moore Propane when the tank needs to be filled. Please note it can take up to five to seven (5 to 7) business days to receive a delivery.
Because generator usage is impossible to predict Moore Propane strongly recommends having a tank monitor installed on the tank to monitor propane levels. Tank monitors work off cell phone towers and a phone app to tell what percentage the tank is currently at. Call any office to request at tank monitor.
